Chicagoland Poetics Initiative
Building connections and networking across Chicago campuses.
Housed at UIC, this is an ongoing initiative organized by faculty and students from UIC, Northwestern and the University of Chicago. This workshop brings together graduate students and faculty, with a strong emphasis on graduate student work. Graduate students share works-in-progress and receive detailed feedback from other students from the three participating schools and beyond. In the process, we promote student collaboration across the campuses and help students build lasting professional relationships and networks to help them as they finish their studies and launch their careers. The initiative will be expanded to include faculty and creative presentations from across the Chicagoland area and the Midwest.
